We understand that sharing your unique personal information online requires a great deal of trust on your part and we take this trust very seriously. Made In Print Inc. promises to make it our highest priority to ensure the security and confidentiality of the unique personal information ("UPI") you provide us. (UPI includes any information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address or financial information).
Made In Print Inc. utilizes the following privacy principles to ensure the safety of your "UPI". The purpose of these principles is to ensure our clients right of privacy with respect to their personal information that is collected, used or disclosed by an organization in the private sector in an era in which technology increasingly facilitates the collection and free flow of information.
PRIVACY PRINCIPLES
These principles address the ways in which we collect, use and disclose personal information. These principles also address the rights of individuals to have access to their personal information and to have it corrected if necessary. The principles are:
Accountability: Made In Print Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control and shall designate an individual or individuals who are accountable for the organization's compliance with the following principles. Identifying Purposes: The purpose for which your personal information is collected is to allow us to verify and complete your orders.
Consent: The knowledge and consent of the Individual are required for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information, except when inappropriate. (Your consent is implied by reading and completing an online profile with Made In Print.).
Limiting Collection: The collection of personal information shall be limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by the organization. Information shall be collected by fair and lawful means. (Made In Print. only asks for information relevant to verifying and completing your orders). If you wish to place an online order with Made In Print Inc. we do require that you create an online profile. Within that profile we will ask you for unique personal information that we require in order to provide service to you. Our registration process requires only a valid e-mail address and a unique user ID and password. Our ordering process may require a valid delivery address. Our payment process requires valid billing address information, Tax ID information for re-sellers and credit card information.
Openness: An organization shall make readily available to individuals specific information about its policies and practices relating to the management of personal information. (Please contact Made In Print Inc. if you have any questions or concerns regarding our safeguarding of your information).
Individual Access: Upon request, an individual shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of his or her personal information and shall be given access to that information. An individual shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate. (Please contact Made In Print Inc. if you have any questions or concerns regarding the accuracy of your personal information).
Safeguards: Personal information shall be protected by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. (Your UPI is stored at security levels that exceed the outlined standards).
Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention: Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required by the law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for fulfillment of those purposes. (Your profile can be deleted by you at any time; however a record of your orders and invoices must be retained by us for taxation purposes).
Use of Data: We may use Data to customize and improve your user experience on this site. Your Data will not be provided to third parties unless:
i. We obtain your consent, such as when you choose to opt-in or opt-out to the sharing of Data;
ii. a service provided on our site requires the interaction with or is provided by a third party such as, for example, credit card authorization services;
iii. We find that your use of this site violates our Policy, Terms of Service, other usage guidelines or as deemed reasonably necessary by us to protect our legal rights and/or property.
Accuracy: Personal information shall be as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used. We provide you with the ability to edit the information in your user account information that you provided to us in registration by using your account configuration pages. You may request deletion of your user account by contacting Made In Print Inc.
Challenging Compliance: An individual shall be able to address a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to the designated individual or individuals for the organization's compliance. (Please contact Made In Print Inc. if you have any concerns regarding compliance).
Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of substantial changes to this Policy either by posting a prominent announcement on our site and/or by sending a message to the e-mail address you have provided to us that is contained within your user settings.
